What is the FBI Vault?
The Vault is an online electronic “library” of collected FBI files which greatly assists the way the public is allowed access to once secret information. The “electronic reading room” contains over 2,000 documents that have been scanned and uploaded online for public viewing. Many of the files contain information which has been released under the Freedom of Information Act, the relevant files linked to this page include numerous encounters with UFO’s. A Roswell document is available along with other documented and investigated reports of UFO sightings.

The files that have been released in the Vault are of course declassified, allowing them to be made public. So the obvious thing that comes to mind is that if these confirmed UFO sighting documents that have been released by the FBI are declassified, you can just imagine what the government still holds regarding UFOs and aliens that still remains classified. You can rest assured that they would of course only release information that was most basic of all and least likely to lead to widespread fear that aliens walk among us. But still the files are incredibly interesting and more than likely to have even the most cynical wonder if there might be truth to the claims. A memo stating that there were so many documented UFO sightings reported that many of the reports were destroyed just to make space for filing is intriguing.
